I don’t have a lot of cash, but whenever I had a few dollars left over at the end of the month, I put it in an interest-bearing account to go toward my new AC unit.
I finally realized I had almost enough money to make the purchase.
It only took three years to save the money, although I was excited. I called the Heating and Air Conditioning supplier and asked them to send someone out to help me decide which AC component I needed. I told him I wanted an AC component with a high efficiency rating. I didn’t want to waste money on my energy bills. I knew what my Dad and Mom paid for their energy bills when the AC component was running. I couldn’t afford to pay that much money, so it had to be energy efficient. I was getting a pet, so I also needed an AC component that would keep the odor and dander of the pet out of the air. The specialist told me I needed an air purification system if I wanted to remove dander and odors. My a/c component could remove the humidity and keep the dwelling cool, but it wasn’t an air purification system. He talked to me about the air purification system and said it would help with pollen irritations, and to keep the dwelling cleaner, because it inspected dust, mold, and mildew. As much as I wanted to buy it, I knew I couldn’t afford it. The a/c component was so much more than I had saved, I wasn’t sure I could afford it, let alone an air purification system.
