My husband and I have wanted to have children for years, but it just was not God’s timing.
We tried for five years before we were blessed with a little one.
I gave birth to our first little boy about eight months ago, and I am overwhelmed with love for him. My husband is so excited to have a son to be his little helper, and Rowen already loves his daddy so much. I can say that although I absolutely love my baby boy, I did not love being pregnant. Everything made me sick it seemed like, and I thought that it would change after I gave birth, but it has not changed. The thing that bothered me the most while I was pregnant was the smell of propane. And of course, we had to use propane heaters to keep our house warm enough throughout the cold winter months. I was told that all those smell aversions would go away after I gave birth, but unfortunately, they have not gone away. We are starting back into the season that we need to use heat, and my husband turned the propane heaters on for the first time last week. I thought I was going to die. I even lost my breakfast because of the smell of the propane. I cannot believe how much pregnancy has changed me. I never enjoyed the smell of propane, but it certainly did not bother me like it does now! I really hope that we will be able to switch to all electric heat soon because I cannot deal with the propane heat anymore.
