I have worked for the same company for over thirteen years now, and I can definitely see myself staying until I retire.
I never pictured myself as the kind of person who would enjoy an office job, but I certainly do.
I have work a couple other jobs while I was younger, and nothing compares to the job I am doing now. All of my coworkers are great as well. We are all really good friends. It feels like I am going to work with family each and every day. Since I have been working for this company, we have moved to three different buildings. Our company is expanding so quickly that we are forced to move to larger properties. The newest building that we are in recently got a new air conditioning system. Most of the people there love it, but I hate it. It works too well. I freeze everyday at work. I literally wear three layers of long sleeves to keep warm enough. Clients come into my office sometimes, and they ask me why I am bundled up. I cannot control the temperature of my individual office. There is one thermostat for the offices in the part of the building that I work in, so I cannot just turn it up or everyone else will get mad at me. I only know of one other person that does not like the offices freezing cold like me. She is about seventy years old, so I guess people find it understandable. When I tell my coworkers that I am cold, they just laugh at me. I think I better get used to being cold all of the time.
