There are some perks to living in an cabin if I had to be honest.
It’s nice coming home & knowing that if my plumbing gets backed up, I can call the service staff & have them send somebody out the same day or the next day, and on top of that, if the roof gets harmd during a tropical storm or hurricane, the insurance for the whole building covers the repair costs.
These are things you have to deal with on your own if you are a homeowner. I’m seeing my sibling go through all of these issues right now with his life. Him & his wife just moved into their own property for the first time this year, & it’s been nothing however trouble since the last hurricane hit. My pal and I had to get their home insurance to spend my money for a new roof & it took months of living with tarps on the top before they could get a roofing supplier out here to do the work. They also have to do all of the Heating & A/C work themselves or higher the companies that need to do it… Even my own cabin complex updates my Heating & A/C filters for me. Every 6 weeks they send the service guy over to put a new filter in my heating & cooling system. This is essential for keeping the air conditioner running efficiently for long periods of time. If you do not keep the filters changed out regularly, the evaporator coil can get harmd inside the air handler. On top of that, your air quality is going to drop in the process. I do not want to be living in an cabin with terrible air quality.
