Since last night was, once again, not the best night of sleep, I’m feeling a little tired.
It seems like I alternate between nights of restful sleep and restless nights of tossing and turning. I’m evaluating my life and the things that could be better because, I guess, my soul is speaking to me and telling me that I need to make some changes. I guess rock ‘n’ roll is the main thing that keeps me up at night, which isn’t a bad thing, even though I would like to get more sleep in general. My colleague and I are getting the cooling corp ready for another busy summer, so thoughts of heating and air conditioning system work keep popping into my head. Late at night when I should be sleeping is when my mind likes to talk to me the most, so I’ve had to learn to silence it. When I wake up in the middle of the night, the soothing white noise from my UV air purifier usually puts me right back to sleep. Since my coworker and I usually rise before dawn once the cats start making noise, I’m making an effort to go to bed early so that I can get plenty of shut-eye. At night, they congregate next to my HVAC unit, and in the morning, they immediately head for the front door, where they will scratch at it relentlessly until I get up. They start getting agitated around 1 o’clock in the afternoon, so I have to feed them. Managing a good sleep schedule can be difficult, but finding ways to quiet the mind and create a peaceful environment, such as with an air purifier, can be helpful.
