I was visiting my cousin, a Heating, Ventilation & A/C provider, when he invited me to a Heating, Ventilation & A/C brands expo.
In my mind, it would be a dull event where we’d walk around looking at unusual brands selling their products as the best quality Heating, Ventilation & A/C on the market and telling us how the Heating, Ventilation & A/C installation would help with indoor comfort for all types of clients.
My cousin owns a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company, and I expected it to be a window-shopping experience until he promised I’d have fun and possibly learn something useful for my environmental activism. My skepticism made me believe that any mention of environmentalism would be a yellow-washing transfer from businesses trying to sell me a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit. I followed him anyway because he promised drinks if I didn’t like it, and I was certain I would. The first people he met were a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional team from an unusual local business, but they were friendly and not competitive. I was afraid he’d start greeting everyone until my friend and I got to the exhibition area and I went off to explore on my own. There were stands with unusual air filters where I learned about unusual types of HEPA filters and a control unit stand… The ductless heat pump exhibitions from other brands, on the other hand, were the most intriguing. I was aware of its capability at each stand, but they all agreed that it was a better option for the environment. I was so excited that I filled those parts for my Instagram story, and some of the responses I got from people who were already using heat pumps were that it did save energy and that Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service were not as difficult as most people claimed. I learned so much that I decided to buy the resident Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repairman a few drinks to persuade him to hire me.
