As I’ve gotten older, I’ve had more trouble falling asleep at night, there are nights when I lie awake for hours, and even if I manage to fall asleep, I might wake up after a n hour or so as well as then struggle to fall back asleep.

I might exercise at three or four o’clock in the afternoon. I’m fortunate that I have a household gym that is separate from the rest of the house. I can blast my music as well as run on the treadmill or jump rope without disrupting the rest of the family. I’ve found that I care about tremendous workouts in the middle of the night. I have so much restless energy as well as am so miserable at being awake, that I push myself harder. I know that exercise isn’t the ideal way to fall asleep, and once I’ve gotten my heart rate up as well as am drenched in sweat, I need a shower. I don’t feel sleepy at all… However, I feel accomplished. I also know that I can sleep in longer in the afternoon because I already completed my workout.
