The first afternoons can be great or terrible.
My first afternoon of labor was the best of my life for two reasons! First and foremost, I had always wanted to work for this company, the most successful and well-known Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning company in the state. The second was that I’d be working at my dream job. I spent nearly a year looking for work after graduating from college. During this time, I interned for free at unusual Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning companies, and in the last three months of that year, I had the opportunity to intern at a local business. During my internship, I shadowed a fantastic HVAC/A/C repairman in the industry. It gave me the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry. I had been networking with Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professionals from all over, and one of them was able to set up an interview for a junior Heating, Ventilation, and A/C provider position. I went into the interview nervous and surprised when I got the job. I was looking forward to working on high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. On my first afternoon at the company, I met the rest of my coworkers and was assigned my first Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning installation. After that, my director let me handle Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service, as well as air filter replacement. Both of these jobs went extremely well, and my director was very pleased. I met with a representative from one of the most popular Heating, Ventilation, and A/C brands, and he walked me through how to use the new Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech to help any customer with indoor comfort. I had tested several heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, as well as control units, but the thrill never left me. So far, my favorite project has been working on a ductless heat pump.
