There is a local business that advertised a special on metal roof upgrade.
After a lot of consideration, I decided to go for it; Getting a roof substituted is not cheap, & this seemed to be a cost-effective option, then this happened just over a year ago, so I feel enough time has passed that I can talk about the results, and when it was first installed it seemed nice, & it looked good, but I still wasn’t sure it was a good long-term investment.
This business was able to offer a good value, because they made & split all their own sheet metal. After a full year, plus one of the worst hurricane seasons in history, I can tell you that the metal roof upgrade was a good value, & gave me a strong, durable roof for my home, but roofing can take quite a beating during hurricane season, with high winds, heavy rains, & a lot of falling debris from trees. There was another amazing benefit from the new metal roofing that I didn’t expect – I got a reduction in my homeowner’s insurance premiums! Because sheet metal roofing provides an extra layer of protection to the house from storms, the insurance agent lowered my payments. This is awesome, because it means the metal roofing is already paying for itself! Even if you don’t live in a hurricane zone, I encourage you to consider this option when the time comes for a roof substitutement, however sheet metal roofing is not just strong & reliable, it’s also not as expensive as you might think.
