He also shut off the air conditioner so the ice would melt naturally.
A few weeks ago, my husband informed me about some ice that was building up on the A/C unit. In my opinion, ice did not sound like a nice thing. My husband however, was convinced that the ice buildup was a nice thing. The air conditioner was supposed to make things cool, so the ice seemed like a nice thing. I didn’t ever remember seeing ice on our air conditioner before though, so it seemed a bit odd… Although my husband was convinced it was a sign of something good, I wasn’t so sure. In my opinion, my nice friend and I needed to hire an Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional to come look at the air conditioner. It took a lot of convincing, but my husband finally agreed to hire an Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional. When I told the professional about the ice buildup, the Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional right away told me that there was a problem… He spent the next 45 minutes trying to find the issue and when he finally did, it wasn’t good. There was a refrigerant leak that was causing the coils to freeze. The nice news was that my nice friend and I caught the ice buildup early on and there wasn’t too much harm. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C professional refilled the refrigerant and patched the hole that was causing the leak. He also shut off the air conditioner so the ice would melt naturally. It was an lavish fix, but I am cheerful my nice friend and I called. I’m cheerful I listened to my gut about the ice and didn’t listen to my husband. He would never confess that.
