Last summer was so nice in the region where I live.
Most of the year, we didn’t even need to turn on the AC! That rarely happens in the region where I live.
It was nice to have a cool year to not have to worry about AC replacements or repairs. Most summers, I have to call the HVAC technician out to my house at least once to check on the status of the AC. One summer, I had to have a full HVAC replacement. It was a costly repair, but it was necessary. We needed to replace the AC in the house before we sold it anyways. However we didn’t end up selling the house. The worst thing is when you have to repair the AC and then wait for the HVAC technician to come to the house. There is always time off work and more money spent that you had originally planned when it comes to HVAC repair or replacement. Another good thing about the mild summer we had last year was that we didn’t have to worry about the AC in the car going out either. I am not sure if there’s anything worse than not having AC in your car when it is hot out. AC repairs can be expensive, but with the right maintenance and installation, you can get a lot of time out of your HVAC system. If you have a mild summer once in a while, you will see that you will be able to maintain your HVAC system and AC in your car longer.
