A couple months ago my family moved in order to live in a cheaper area, which meant downsizing to a smaller house.
All in all, though, it isn’t that bad.
I actually like my room and, while the kitchen and laundry room may get a little cramped if various people try to be in them at once, the house’s small size still gives everyone plenty of space. As a family of four, and there being three dining rooms that each have their own personal closet, it is the perfect amount. We also have two separate bathrooms, each with their own sink, toilet, and shower, and the one connected to the greatest dining room even has a sizable bathtub to soak in. The bathroom separate from the sizable tub is rather small, which I don’t mind, but the cooling system vent in the room has a sizable effect on the small space. There is a single vent in the room where the air from the heating system or cooling system, depending on which is being run, is blown through. When the AC is running it suddenly cools down the small space whenever the door is closed and the surrounding tiles in the floor get particularly cold. Stepping out of the shower, soaking wet, and instantaneously being greeted by the blast of cold air bursting from the AC vent can also supply quite the shock. I’ve gone so far as to the close the cooling system vent in there entirely to avoid the cold that suddenly builds in the small room, and regardless, the rest of the condo is actually amazing, and my associate and I even have a small fenced in yard which our dogs love.
