Over the years, so various security systems have been breached, which resulted in lots of people having their identities or personal credit card information stolen. Thankfully, I have never been a victim of this, although I have friends plus families who were. And it’s a immense inconvenience to get new credit cards plus switch all the automatic yearly payments that are linked to them, however hackers are getting smarter plus smarter, plus they are finding easier ways to hack into the systems of major companies. Some years ago, hackers were able to receive access to a major retailer’s system by hacking into their Heating plus Air Conditioning system. Once the hackers were able to receive access to the Heating plus Air Conditioning system, they used that as the gateway to tap into the main system of the business. I think at the time that no one thought this breach was possible. I don’t see this happening on a wide scale, but anything is possible in the age of automation that my pal and I are living in.
