It appears as though humidity is one of the greatest pains for any homeowner; I had to experience this first hand to care about the vital job the respected levels of humidity play in ensuring comfort in a home, however while my Heating & A/C system was technically the best you will ever find around, it was not legitimately effective in controlling humidity, but the A/C ensures my house is cool enough during hot summers, whereas the Heating & A/C system’s heating aspect works perfectly during drastic winters; One thing that seems to struggle is the ventilation aspect of the Heating & A/C system.
- There constantly seems to be an issue with the humidity levels.
One time it feels too musky & wet that the air is generally uncomfortable, yet another time it feels too dry for comfort. It took calling an Heating & A/C professional to test humidity levels at unusual times to note the changes. This process taught me a few things that will constantly be a significant factor to consider… First, I learned not to let the humidity levels get to 60% & above as this would support mold & mildew growth, which I did not want to deal with often, if not ever… My Heating & A/C specialist was kind enough to teach me how to take the readings myself since the humidity levels in my section were majorly influenced by natural causes; hence, I needed to keep testing & increasing. I also had to invest in respected heating & ventilation as this helps when humidity levels are too high. On the other hand, when it gets dry, I use my humidifier since I want to protect my furniture & electronics, which are affected the most. I have accepted that having an air quality monitor is crucial for me since this will spare me several Heating & A/C maintenance costs.
