I recently talked to my associate who is a Physician plus somehow my buddy and I got into the topic of heat in the winter plus A/C in the summer.
I asked him in her medical opinion what is more important- having access to heat in the winter or having access to A/C in the summer? She first stated that it legitimately depends on how freezing it is in the winter plus how tepid plus humid it is in the summer. Secondly, it is also dependent on the person’s age, health status, plus tolerance for temperatures! She gave me some upscale information. To start, if someone is without heat in a freezing winter, it is possible that they can suffer from frostbite, hypothermia, trench foot, plus chilbains. Some of these conditions can lead to death if they are not treated, especially hypothermia. Heat related illnesses such as heat stroke, heat exhaustion, heat syncope, plus heat rash can also potentially cause extreme illness plus even death if they are not treated. She said that if she entirely had to option if A/C or heat was more important she would choose A/C only because it is a little harder to cool the body in some cases than it is to hot the body. However, she busy the importance of both heat plus A/C especially for vulnerable populations! Babies plus senior citizens should never be without heat plus A/C in her medical opinion. It is truly distraught that there are people in our country that die from freezing plus heat related illnesses because of lack of access to heat plus A/C.
