Living way up north means using the heat almost year round, but i grew up a few states south of where my hubby and I live now.
It was much warmer there, and my buddy and I honestly had a summer; Where my buddy and I are living now, the summer time only last for about a month and a half, and it is not nearly as warm as I am used to, my hubby actually enjoys being in a cooler climate, but I cannot say the same for myself.
I do not mind it as long as I get to stay indoors, but when I have to travel or be outside for some reason, I do not like how chilly it regularly is. My associate and I literally have the heat on for about ten months out of the year! Having a good boiler is actually important for us, so my buddy and I purchased a brand current one when my buddy and I first moved into our home about seven years ago. My associate and I have not had any problems with it thus far. However, our temperature control started giving us trouble about two months ago. It was not changing the temperature as it should. My associate and I had it set to seventy-two degrees, but the home never felt actually warm. My associate and I thought that there was something wrong with our heater, but my hubby figured out that it was not the boiler but the temperature control. My associate and I ended up having to get a current temperature control because ours eventually just quit working altogether. My associate and I had an Heating & A/C company come and update the temperature control for us, and my buddy and I are so thankful that my buddy and I did because it ended up being a little more complicated than what my buddy and I thought it would be.
