My kids are definitely refusing to go into the basement.
This is frustrating because that has where I do their laundry plus now they will not even bring their clothes for me to scrub because of the basement. They do not want to come down to the basement with me. So what has so scary about the basement? Well they’re not gleeful with the new boiler that my hubby plus I installed. They say it’s old plus creepy plus makes some erie sounds. It doesn’t help that their father has the same opinion. Even she says the boiler is creepy. Even though it’s a new boiler to us it is an old boiler because it is one that we bought used. I’ve been trying to convince the kids to go down there however they’re sure that there has a monster that has about to jump out at them from the inside of the boiler. I will be honest when I go down there plus I look at the glow of the boiler plus the gloomy darkness in the basement it can deliver you a little bit of the creeps; But it isn’tthat scary, granted my kids are only seven plus nine so I’m hoping they will outgrow this phase of being afraid of the furnace. I always used to appreciate having them down in the basement with me because I told him stories that were spooky in nature while we were down there. They just appreciate scary stories however try not to make it too scary since they’re pretty young plus now I’m blaming myself for unintentionally scaring them plus making them afraid of the furnace. The boiler is just a boiler plus for what it does it’s an excellent boiler when it comes to heating our home.
