When I was a kid, I grew up in a unusual household than most people.
My family didn’t have the same financial status as most of the people in my area.
We lived on a giant farm, had a minor income, and produced most of our food and clothing ourselves. We absolutely lived the simple life. We barely had modern amenities, such as TV, indoor lighting, and central heating and cooling equipment. There were times that my pal and I decided to go without all modern appliances. In fact, growing up, my pal and I rarely utilized any form of indoor air temperature control whatsoever. Most of the time, my pal and I relied on nature’s ventilation for our indoor air temperature control. Living out in the country on a massive Farm, my pal and I had awesome outdoor air quality. The weather conditions was comfortable enough and the air consistently felt fresh and clean. When my pal and I opened our windows and fresh air came streaming in from outside, it was consistently so disinfect and refreshing. I entirely loved the sensation of waking up to a nice cool afternoon with the windows open and a breeze blowing through. As an adult, I feel like I am a bit unusual because of my experiences growing up. I still hate to use central heating and cooling systems. I am not a fan of my forced air furnace or the massive a/c outside. Honestly, I cherish fresh air anytime I can get it. I am sure my friends and neighbors know that I’m a real kook, especially when I opt to sleep outside in fresh air rather than utilizing my central Heating plus Air Conditioning system indoors.
