My kids are entirely refusing to go into the basement.
This is discouraging because that is where I do their laundry and now they won’t even bring their clothes for me to wash because of the basement.
They don’t want to come down to the basement with me. So what’s so alarming about the basement? Well they’re not cheerful with the new furnace that my partner and I installed. They say it’s aged and creepy and makes some erie sounds. It doesn’t help that their father has the same opinion. Even he says the furnace is creepy. Even though it’s a new furnace to us it is an aged furnace because it is one that my pal and I obtained used. I’ve been trying to convince the kids to go down there however they’re sure that there has a monster that is about to jump out at them from the inside of the furnace. I will be honest when I go down there and I look at the glow of the furnace and the gloomy darkness in the basement it can supply you a little bit of the creeps, but it is not that alarming, granted my kids are only seven and nine so I’m hoping they will outgrow this stage of being afraid of the heater. I always used to cherish having them down in the basement with me because I told him stories that were spooky in nature while my pal and I were down there. They just love alarming stories however try not to make it too alarming since they’re pretty young and now I’m blaming myself for unintentionally scaring them and making them afraid of the heater. The furnace is just a furnace and for what it does it’s an excellent furnace when it comes to heating our home.
