This week was a good one.
Work was busy, which Fiona likes.
The main reason the day goes by faster, and even though it’s the middle of the week just to get through Sunday fast is great. The only disadvantage Fiona has is that at the age of 25, she still lives with her parents. The other disadvantage of living with her parents at her age is that they control all aspects of her life living in their house. They still have a curfew for Fiona and they still expect her to not live a life of fun with her friends, going out and stumbling back home. They expect her to be the same little girl she was at the age of 10. Fiona knows this is a hard pill for them to swallow but she is getting older. Still, she won’t argue with them at all. Fiona won’t argue with them because she lives under their roof and they can say one day, “get out.” Fiona doesn’t want to ever hear that because she is living rent free until she can figure out what she’s doing in life. Other than that they control the temperature and the beach house in the middle of winter time feels like an ice box. This week, Fiona said it’s enough and went out and bought a portable space heater. After buying it from the store her automobile wouldn’t start to head back home. It just sat there, maybe a dead battery, maybe something else and AAA said they won’t be there for a while. Fiona didn’t want to wait so she grabbed her portable space heater and jumped on the subway train. She got a lot of odd looks on the train but when she got home, Fiona felt so much comfort with the heater on. She completely forgot about her automobile until the next day.
