Making plans and trying to figure out the way forward is what most of us do in our annual lives! But that doesn’t mean everything goes according to plan.
Another aspect that I think my associate and I all share.
It’s how you handle plans being suddenly changed that makes all the difference, at least to me. I’ve regularly been a lady who leans a bit toward being a control freak. I like to know what to expect whether it’s in the zone-controlled Heating and Air Conditioning unit of the office suite or the central air conditioner of my house. I like to know what’s happening. And that has led me to be a bit wacky when things don’t go according to my plans, however this type of reaction normally comes with way too much stress and frustration. This is something that I’m trying to avoid as much as possible these days, because life is too short to lose it every time something doesn’t go according to plan. But when I was told that my boss wanted me to move to an office up north, I was caught completely off guard, then my associate Dave and I had just finished the renovations to our home. There was finally the right residential Heating and Air Conditioning equipment that I had wanted for such a long time. It came with the perfect central air conditioner and the complete complement of Heating and Air Conditioning technology. Dave and I had just gotten our apartment just the way my associate and I wanted and now Dave and I were expected to move? I tried absolutely hard to be calm and process this news. Dave was the one who pointed out the positives and she pointed out that having new Heating and Air Conditioning equipment would be a major plus in selling our home. That helped me get on board with yet more change.
