So there are some perks that come with working for yourself… For sure, I don’t get to work inside the zone controlled Heating & A/C of a costly office building any longer, then and getting that proper paycheck with the occasional bonuses are a thing of the past, those were not easy details to walk away from, and but honestly, I feel I walked into the commercial Heating & A/C of that office knowing full well that I typically wanted to be my own boss, then still, I had a lot to learn & that task gave all manner of substantial training for me. That said, I don’t miss it. And even though I’m getting ready to go into the part of the year where I entirely miss that zone controlled Heating & A/C of the office, I’m pretty excited. Since I went out on my own, I’m either traveling to meet with or give services for my buyers or working from the central air conditioning of home, however it didn’t make much sense to rent office space since it’s just me at this point. So I’ve been working from home in the Summer & it’s been hot. I keep the temperature control setting quite high while in the peak heating hours of the day. That’s to save currency on high-priced cooling costs. But this Summer, I’m going to do my normal supplier travel & then stay out. I’ve figured out how to work from cooler temperatures all Summer while I travel for business. Instead of going home between trips, I’m going to stay out there camping & working from arenas where I can access wi-fi. I’ll leave the central air conditioning on enough to mitigate mold & mildew growth. But other than that, I won’t be having to spend so much on Heating & A/C costs this Summer & I’ll be a heck of a lot cooler up north.
