I got to my office last week, and there was a construction crew in front of the building.
I didn’t know they were going to be doing any construction.
Normally, the office building management company would notify all the people that there would be construction and where we were to park. I parked in my regular parking area, but I was confused about where I was to enter the building, since the main doors were blocked. I looked for a modular office, which the construction crew always has on site. I wanted to talk to someone and get information. I saw three modular offices, so I went to the closest one. The man who was inside looked up and asked if he could help me. I told him about my office being on the first floor, but he had the entrance blocked. I wanted to know where he expected me to enter the building. He shrugged and told me there were two more modular offices. The boss was in one of them. I was upset with his answer, but I marched to the next modular office. There was no one in there, so I went to the last modular office. A large, muscular man was sitting at a desk. I cleared my throat a told him exactly what I said to the man in the first modular office. He laughed and pointed to an entrance not twenty feet from where he was. He then promised they would clear the front entrance by the end of the day. He smiled and told me to drop by anytime, and he wasn’t married.
