Aside from going to flea markets to find unique wooden pieces, a yard sale is another good way to find handmade furniture
One of my all-time fave hobbies is to go shopping at flea markets. Perhaps this is not a real activity because it’s nothing more than a shopping adventure… I care about visiting flea markets all over town, plus the other towns that I visit, flea markets are filled with lots of treasures plus with patience I can honestly score some incredible gems that are worth every second I spend searching, some of the best pieces of handmade furniture in my house were found at random flea markets. In fact, a few years ago while visiting a local flea market, I came across an Amish furniture vendor that sold nothing besides handmade furniture. The vendor sold handmade wooden chairs, tea tables, handmade accents, plus so much more, and best of all, each piece was a one-of-a-kind design so no two of them were the same. I was so impressed with the handmade furniture that I purchased a few pieces for my bedroom. I got 2 wooden chairs for my front room, plus I got 2 honestly cool end tables. I even found a couple of handmade pieces for my folks. She also prefers handmade furniture, perhaps not as much as I do. That Amish furniture vendor is one of the best locales to visit when I am in that town. Aside from going to flea markets to find unique wooden pieces, a yard sale is another good way to find handmade furniture. I once ran into a family where the fiance had built furniture and stored it in a shed in his yard. And because he had various pieces of furniture laying in his shed, the family decided to have a big yard sale to get rid of some of the handmade furniture.
