There’s just no pretending any longer. I guess that’s sort of what I do when it comes to facing the Summer. The closer it gets, the more I just want to hold onto that cool breeze for another minute. I know that those will be out of stock for the next four months anyway. In its place will be the cooling comfort of air conditioning. So I guess I shouldn’t complain or begin to dread the coming heat and humidity. Still, I’ll miss being able to just go outside and do stuff whenever I want. From June through September, it’s a good idea to be inside residential HVAC during the peak heating hours of the day. Although most people are inside some form of commercial HVAC at work during the hottest parts of the day. I still don’t know how landscapers, roofers and all the other people who work outside all day in the heat actually do it. I work from home so my schedule has begun to change as the heat comes up. I get up early, early now in order to get outside before it gets too hot. Then, it’s inside the central air conditioning the rest of the day working. I try to slip outside the air conditioning again in the evening for some fresh air. But I’m always glad to walk back in to the cool, crisp air in my home. I love the fact that the heat pump is also balancing the humidity levels for me. It keeps our inside air much more dry and reduces the occurrence of mold and mildew.
