I want my heat pump to be able to operate at peak efficiency
There is no better friend to me right now than my HVAC equipment. Specifically, I’m talking about the heat pump that provides me with the level of air conditioning which allows me to get myself through the Summer heat. For this region, that’s a pretty tall order. From June through almost the end of September, you can expect temperatures in the 90’s or above. I’m a native of this region so I know a little bit about just how intense the Summer heat can be. Unlike my dad, I grew up with central air conditioning. But even back then, dad was awfully careful about where the thermostat setting was during the Summer. I’ve followed in his footsteps when it comes to getting the most out of my heat pump for the least amount of money. To do that, it all starts with HVAC maintenance. While we don’t have much of a Winter, there is occasionally the need for some heating. That hasn’t been the case in the last several years but, it happens. Even though the heat pump doesn’t do much heating, I still get HVAC maintenance each Fall. After the heat pump runs pretty much night and day for heat season, it’s nice to have the HVAC professionals give it the once over. Still though, I always get an air conditioning tune up in the Spring as well. I want my heat pump to be able to operate at peak efficiency. It’s my most valuable player in the Summer so I have to count on it and HVAC maintenance makes that possible.
