My coworker and I have been working together for the last two weeks.
My coworker started training at the HVAC supercenter and the guy has to spend at least one month working with another employee.
I have been working at the HVAC supercenter for the past 2 years. I know almost all of the residential and commercial customers. From time to time we get new customers and new requests. This week we had a brand new customer call for a repair. My coworker and I were the ones assigned to the job. We drove from the beaches all the way to the north side that day to get to the residential customer. There were no cars in the garage or the driveway. I knocked on the door but no one came to answer. I went to the gas station to grab a drink and a hot dog. When my coworker and I went back to the house, the customer still was not home. I decided to contact my boss. I didn’t want to wait around any longer. We had already been in the neighborhood for 30 minutes and the customer did not arrive. My boss called the customer a couple of times and the person did not answer the phone either. We waited as long as we could before leaving. We drove all the way to the north side for the job and we wasted a lot of gas. The repair customer wasn’t home that day and she didn’t call again. She must have gotten someone else to repair the problems with the HVAC system.
