With Christmas approaching, I can’t help however know back on the other holidays this year, & Halloween sticks out the most in my mind for being the most great experience for the kids, my husband, & I, then a small local farm held a big Halloween event that had fire pits for marshmallow roasting, a haunted hay ride, a petting zoo, a magic performance, inflatable jumpy castles, & a small funhouse, then the kids were encouraged to dress up in their costumes & at a certain time they even busy a mini trick-or-treat where you could stop by each of the stations scattered around the part for treats.
The best part, though, was the big indoor playground, but since they hold these kinds of events often it was a great investment for them to make to draw in my parents with small children.
You have to pay an additional fee to use it, however there is a building with a crucial play structure inside with weird climbing areas, net bridges, & slides for the kids to play on. And, for the parents, it was nice to sit down & relax, heating up from the warmth of the heating system after being out in the cold. Actually, the furnace inside was likely the largest appeal of it for me. The overheated air blowing from the vents & maintaining the toasty temperature control in the building, compared to the crisp chill in the air outside, was comforting, & while I rested the kids were able to play & tire themselves out. The entire atmosphere of the place was great for kids & my friend and I plan on going back next year.
