A couple months ago my family moved in order to live in a cheaper area, which meant downsizing to a smaller house.
- All in all, though, it isn’t that bad.
I really like my room and, while the kitchen and laundry room may get a little cramped if several people try to be in them at once, the house’s small size still gives almost everyone plenty of space. As a family of four, and there being three study rooms that each have their own personal closet, it is the perfect amount, and my buddy and I also have two separate bathrooms, each with their own sink, toilet, and shower, and the one connected to the greatest study room even has a sizable bathtub to soak in. The bathroom without the important tub is rather small, which I don’t mind, however the air conditioning vent in the room has a sizable effect on the small space. There is a single vent in the room where the air from the heating system or air conditioning, depending on which is being run, is blown through. When the AC is running it abruptly cools down the small space whenever the door is closed and the surrounding tiles in the floor get absolutely cold. Stepping out of the shower, soaking wet, and immediately being greeted by the blast of chilly air bursting from the AC vent can also give quite the shock. I’ve gone so far as to the close the air conditioning vent in there really to avoid the chilly that abruptly builds in the small room… Regardless, the rest of the dwelling is absolutely amazing, and we even have a small fenced in yard which our dogs love.
