Our candle store burnt down because of a faulty gas heater.
It all began one evening when I was in my candle shop making candles.
I had had the central cooling system running because it usually gets pretty hot in the shop, but on this evening I got undoubtedly cold, so I went to my smart control equipment and turned off the central cooling system and then proceeded to turn on the gas heater. The heater made some bizarre sounds, almost like a small gust of flames, then kicked on. I figured this wasn’t a large problem since gas boilers run on gas which makes a flame. As I continued to work that evening, I started to smell a gas leak from the gas heater. I grew worried and decided to turn off the gas heater and to go home for the evening, however little did I know that there was a gas leak in my gas heater, and it was filling my shop with gas fumes… Unluckyly, I had left a small candle burning, and when the fumes from my gas heater got near the candle, it burst into flames and caught stuff on fire! I got a call from the fire department saying that my gas heater had started a fire in my shop. The next afternoon I called the heating and cooling supplier and demanded that they spend my savings for the detriment done and to also fix the leak in my gas heater. The heating and cooling business apologized for the leak and sent an Heating plus Air Conditioning business to fix the gas heater.
